Kenneth W. Bright

Kenneth W. Bright, 74, of Meadville, died Wednesday, August 9, 1989, at Meadville Medical Center following a short illness.
He was born in Cheswick, Allegheny County, February 8, 1915, a son of William and Violet Wyatt Bright. He married Goldie Vaughn on September 7, 1940. She preceded him in death April 14, 1985.
He retired from FMC Corp. as a foreman in quality control. He was a veteran of World War II with the US Army in the European Theater. He was a member of Meadville Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 2006, Linesville American Legion Post 462, and Grove City Elks Lodge 1579.
Survivors include a daughter, Mrs. Donald (Carol) Finch of Westerville, OH; a sister, Mrs. Evelyn Winger of Grove City; and three grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a sister, Gladys Chapman.
Services were held at Waid Funeral Home.
Interment was in Roselawn Memorial Gardens.
