Kenneth W. Hill, 88, of Saegertown, died at home, Sunday, March 19, 2000.
He was born in Cochranton, February 16,1912, a son of the late Clinton and Lissa (James) Hill. He was first married to Altha Cannon and he subsequently married Esther Clark Hutchinson in November 1979.
He was employed by Hayfield Township until his retirement in 1978. He was a member of Little's Corners United Methodist Church for 58 years, and served the church as Board Chairman. He was a life member and past president of the Hayfield Central Hose Co.
Survivors in addition to his wife Esther, include a step-son, Millard Hutchinson of Saegertown; a step-daughter, Edna (Mrs. Gary) Felmlee of Oakley, CA; two nieces, Shirley Wallis of New Brighton, PA and Elsie (Mrs. George) Chess of Saegertown; three nephews, Bill, Bob and John Hall, all of Meadville; five great nephews and numerous great-great-nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his first wife, Altha Hill; a stepdaughter, Ethel Evans; a brother, Carl Hill; a sister, Louva Randall; and a nephew, James Hill.
Services were held at Waid Funeral Home.
Interment was in Roselawn Memorial Gardens.
