L. Roy Miller
August 9, 1887 — July 1, 1959
L. Roy Miller, 72, of Meadville, died shortly before midnight Wednesday, July 1, 1959, at Spencer Hospital where he had been a patient for one day. Death followed a short illness.
Miller was born in Sadsbury Township August 9, 1887, a son of Samuel Perry and Lucinda Glancy Miller. He was employed as a millwright at the Malleable Iron Co. until his retirement in 1950. He was a member of St. Paul's Evangelical and Reformed Church and of Cussewago Odd Fellows Lodge.
He is survived by his widow, the former Sophia Schnauber, whom he married in 1917; a sister, Mrs. James (Anna) McClimans of Greenville; a brother, Ransom H. Miller of Meadville; and several nieces and nephews.
Services were held at Waid Funeral Home.
Interment was in Roselawn Memorial Gardens.
