Laroka Wheeling

Mrs. LaRoka Wheeling, 90, of Meadville, died at Mead Nursing Home Wednesday, June 20, 1973, after a long illness. She had been at the home since August 9, 1971.
Born in Wayne Township on February 4, 1883, she was a daughter of Peter and Nancy Hollabaugh Kiter. She was the widow of James Wheeling and was a member of Cochranton United Methodist Church.
Survivors include two daughters, Mrs. Craig (Averyl) Underwood of Meadville and Mrs. Arthur (Cleora) Smock of Sharon; a son, Philip of Cochranton; a sister, Mrs. Jessamine Boyer of Deland, FL; ten grandchildren; twenty-seven great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.
Services were held at Waid Funeral Home.
Interment was in Peters Cemetery, Canal Township, Venango County.
