Laura Chapel

Mrs. Laura Chapel, 95, a resident of the United Methodist Home and Hospital since August 1960, formerly of Oil City, died at the home Saturday, April 5, 1980, after an extended illness.
She was born in Cherry Tree Township, Venango County, May 1, 1884, a daughter of Frederick B. and Adeila Drake Smith. She married George S. Chapel in 1906. He died in 1930.
She was a member of Grace United Methodist Church, Oil City.
Services were held at Waid Funeral Home.
Interment was in Grove Hill Cemetery.
