Lawrence Wilson Hoyt

September 5, 1904 — January 1, 1753

Lawrence Wilson Hoyt, 48, of Meadville, died suddenly this morning, just after he got to work at Talon Plant 5.

He had been employed at Talon for 17 years as a toolmaker.  Before that he was employed for along period by the McCrosky Tool Corp.

Hoyt was born in Guys Mills, the son of the late Frank and Winnie Wait Hoyt, and spent his early life there.  He was educated in schools of Randolph Township and Meadville.

He was a member of Stone Methodist Church, Lodge 408, the Erie Consistory and of the West Mead VFD.

Hoyt is survived by his widow, the former Genevieve Kebert; a daughter, Mrs. Charles A. Emerick of Meadville; a son, Dr. Eugene P. Hoyt, of Meadville; and by three grandchildren.

Services were held at Waid Funeral Home.

Interment was in Cochranton Cemetery.
