Leeida M. Gelvin

Miss Leeida M. Gelvin, 89, of Meadville, died at her home Sunday, July 6, 1958, after a short illness.

She was born in Geneva, June 25, 1869, a daughter of William W. and Marian E. Cummings Gelvin.

A retired school teacher since 1939, she taught at Butler Junior High School for many years.  She was a member of Stone Methodist Church, a graduate of Allegheny College and Columbia University and had taken special studies at the University of Minnesota.

There are no close survivors.

Services were held at Waid Funeral Home.

Interment was in Greendale Cemetery.
