Leon F. Courtney

Leon F. Courtney, 73, of Frenchtown, died Friday, May 19, 1944, after a long illness.
Mr. Courtney was born January 1, 1871, in France, a son of Stephen and Adalaide Courtney.
He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Cecile Courtney; a son, Raymond, at home; four daughters, Adelaide and Genevieve at home, Leona, with the Red Cross in England and Aline with the USO in Norfolk, VA; a brother, Edmond of Guys Mills; and two sisters, Mrs. Emma Perry and Mrs. Aline DeMaison of Meadville.
Services were held with the Waid Funeral Home.
Interment was in St. Hippolyte Cemetery.
