Leonard M. Miller

March 2, 1906 — March 5, 1960

Leonard M. Miller, 54, of Meadville, died Saturday, March 5, 1960, at his home after a heart attack.

Miller was born in Meadville, March 2, 1906, a son of Winfred and Etta Bromley Miller.  Until recently, he had been an inspector for the Department of Highways.  He previously had been employed by station WMGW.  He was a chief radioman in the Navy during World War II and was a member of West Mead 2 VFD.  He had made his home on Leberman Avenue for about 11 years.

He is survived by his widow, the former Florence V. Cafferty; two sons, James L. at home and Richard E. of Geneva, OH; a daughter, Mrs. Lawrence (Geraldine) Smith of Meadville; two brothers, Gerald W. of Meadville and Donald L. of Meadville; and five grandchildren.

Services were held at Waid Funeral Home.

Interment was in Roselawn Memorial Gardens.
