Leone Higby

Leone Higby, 80, widow of Edwin T. (Ted) Higby, a resident of Wesbury United Methodist Community since February 1986, at Wesbury following an extended illness.

Mrs. Higby was born in Guys Mills, June 25, 1905, a daughter of Sylvester and Nellie Luce DeMaison.  She married Edwin T. (Ted) Higby, who preceded her in death.

She was a life-member of Meadville Elks Lodge 219 Aux.

Survivors include one daughter, Mrs. W. F. (Beatrice) VanAmburg of Meadville; four grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.  She was preceded in death by one brother, Lyle DeMaison; and one sister, Reatha Dalgliesh.

Services were held at Waid Funeral Home.

Interment was in Venango Cemetery.
