Leroy G. Ehrgott

Leroy G. Ehrgott, 92, a resident of Wesbury United Methodist Community since 1988 formerly of Mercer Pike, died Friday, April 19, 1996 at Wesbury following a period of declining health.

He was born in Union Township, Crawford County, February 29, 1904, a son of the late Daniel and Carrie (Shaffer) Ehrgott.  He married Esther Kiser, July 2, 1927.  She survives.

He was a self-employed dairy farmer for over 50 years.  He also worked as a carpenter and worked briefly at the Mill Run Lumber Co.  He was a member of St. Johns United Church of Christ.  He was a former member of the Grange and Cussewago Odd Fellows Lodge 108, Meadville.

Survivors in addition to his wife include several nieces, nephews and cousins.  He was preceded in death by a brother, Herman Ehrgott and a sister, Ruth Borland.

Services were held at Waid Funeral Home.

Interment was in Cochranton Cemetery.
