Lester E. Hill

Lester E. Hill, 58, of Meadville, died at Spencer Hospital shortly after noon Monday, following a long illness.

Mr. Hill had spent most of his life in the community and was a conductor for the Erie Railroad Company before ill health forced his retirement.  He was a member of the Erie Railroad Veterans Assn.

He is survived by his mother, Mrs. Laura M. Schreck of Meadville; a daughter, Miss Dorothy Hill at home; a son, Stanley Hill of Meadville; a half-sister, Mrs. Elmer E. Rankin; and a half-brother, James Schreck of Meadville.

Services were held at Waid Funeral Home.

Interment was in Roselawn Memorial Gardens.
