Lexie N. Castile

Lexie N. Castile, 20, of Erie, died Sunday, September 16, 2012 at UPMC Hamot, Erie.

She was born May 19, 1992 in Franklin, a daughter of Dennis A. Castile and Laurie Greenawalt Holler.

Lexie attended General McLane High School and was employed as a personal care aide for Interim Home Healthcare of Erie and had previously worked for Voices of Independence of Erie.

Lexie lived life to the fullest.  She wanted to become a nurse and her life centered around her loving son whom she deeply cared for.

Survivors include her son, Austin Michael Castile at home; father and stepmother, Dennis A. and Bonnie Castile of Lake City; her mother and stepfather, Laurie and Brian Holler of Edinboro; paternal grandmother, Catherine Allen of Conneautville; paternal grandfather, Al Castile and his wife Margaret of Guys Mills; maternal grandmother, Beverly Greenawalt of Rimersburg; step-grandparents, Ronald and Nancy Holler of Conneautville; two brothers, Casey Castile, and Kyle Castile of Lake City; three step-brothers, Keith Ball of Roanoke, VA, Ryan Holler of Saegertown, and Luke Holler of Cambridge Springs; two step-sisters, Samantha Ball of Philadelphia and Ashley Holler; and several aunts, uncles and cousins.

She was preceded in death by her maternal grandfather, Richard Greenawalt and paternal step-grandfather, Morton Allen.

Calling hours will be Wednesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. at the Robert W. Waid Funeral Home, 581 Chestnut St., Meadville.

The funeral service will be Thursday at 11:00 a.m. at the funeral home with the Rev. Mark Droll, Pastor of Sterrettania Alliance Church, McKean, officiating.

Interment will be in Kiser Hill Cemetery, East Mead Township, Crawford County.
