Linda E. Blair

Linda E. Blair, age 77, of Meadville passed away Wednesday evening October 14, 2026, in Crawford Care Center surrounded by family.

She was born in Pittsburgh on September 18, 1948, the daughter of John and Virginia (McGarvey) Krumpe.

She was a 1966 graduate of Saegertown High School.

On November 30, 1968, Linda married Charles Blair, he passed away on May 28, 2021.

She was employed as a Ward Secretary for Meadville Medical Center for almost 18 years and worked as a cashier at Walmart for 7 years.

She was a member of Twelve Apostles Lutheran Church, Saegertown and Golden Crown Chapter #44 Order of the Eastern Star.

She is survived by two sons, Doug Blair and Todd Blair both of Meadville; a sister, Deborah Genser of Pittsburgh; a brother, Herbert Krumpe and his wife Candy of Murrysville, PA; three grandchildren: MacKenzie Blair and her fiancé Jacob Goner, Emma Blair and her fiancé Mason Albert, and Johnothan Blair; a daughter-in-law, Heather Jones and her partner Eric Schoonover; a special friend, Joe Williams; and three nieces and three nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband Charlie.

A Memorial Service will be held on Friday, October 23, 2026, at 5:00 PM in ROSE AND WAID FUNERAL HOME AND CREMATORY, INC., 581 CHESTNUT ST., MEADVILLE with Rev. Mark Fischer, officiating. Family and friends will be received at the funeral home on Friday from 4:00 PM until the time of service. An Order of the Eastern Star Service will follow at 4:50 PM.
