Lizzie Brown

Mrs. Lizzie Brown, 77, widow of Xavier Brown, who resided in Meadville, died Monday morning, at the Flickinger Convalescent Home after a six-months illness.

Born in Meadville, she spent most of her life in the Randolph Township area.  She had resided in Meadville the past six years.

Mrs. Brown is survived by a daughter, Mrs. Howard Stearns of Titusville; a son, Melvin Brown of Guys Mills; a granddaughter, Faye Etta Stearns; a sister, Mrs. Hattie Johnson of Sebring, FL; two brothers, William and Charles Alzingre of Meadville; and a half-sister, Miss Emma Alzingre of Fitchburg, Mass.

Services were held at Waid Funeral Home.

Interment was in Greendale Cemetery.
