Lloyd D. Brown, 86, of Meadville, and a resident of Wesbury United Methodist Community since 1997, died there Tuesday, December 7, 1999 following an unexpected illness.
He was born in Bully Hill, Venango County, September 6, 1913, a son of Frank A. and Elizabeth I. Titsler Brown.
He worked for 22 years as the custodian at the Crawford County Court House. Previously, he had worked as a freight handler for the Erie Railroad and for a brief period at McCroskey Tool Corp. He was a member of the First Christian Church.
Survivors include a brother, Frank W. Brown (Betty) of Meadville; two nephews, Richard Brown (Ruth) of Peterstown, WV and Kenneth Brown (Robin) of Meadville; a great-niece and two step great-nephews.
Services were held at Waid Funeral Home.
Interment was in Millcreek Cemetery, Utica.
