Lloyd F. Chronack, 48, of Meadville, a state employee and Vietnam veteran, died Saturday, February 27, 1993 at Meadville Medical Center after an illness of several months.
He was born November 8, 1944 in Gordon, Schuylkill County, PA, a son of Rosina Frank Chornak of Meadville and the late Peter P. Chornack. He married Barbara Davenport April 20, 1974. She survives.
He was a business manager for the district office of Pennsylvania Department of Environmental Resources, Meadville, where he had worked for 20 years. He was a member of the Stone United Methodist Church. He was a 1963 graduate of Meadville High School and received his master's degree from Edinboro University. He was a US Marine Corps. veteran of the Vietnam War and a member of the VFW Post 2006 in Meadville, the Vernon Central Volunteer Fire Department and the Meadville Eagles Lodge.
In addition to his wife and mother, survivors include two sons, Michael Chornack and Stephen Chornack, both of the home; a brother, Michael Chornack of Boulder, CO; and several cousins.
Services were held at Waid Funeral Home.
Interment was in Roselawn Memorial Gardens.
