Loretta E. Mcnamara

Mrs. Loretta E. McNamara, 89, of Blooming Valley, died at Spencer Hospital Monday morning, August 11, 1975, after a long illness.

She was born in Mt. Hope on March 3, 1886, a daughter of Jacob and Mary Ellen Davison Smith.  She was the widow of Clinton J. McNamara who died in 1953.  Mrs. McNamara was a school teacher in her earlier years.  She attended Wayland Baptist Church and later Blooming Valley United Methodist Church, teaching the adult Sunday school class at both churches.  She was a graduate of the former Edinboro Normal School a member of Kiser Hill Grange.

Survivors include a daughter, Mrs. Conrad (Verna) Miller of Blooming Valley; two sons, A. D. McNamara and Bruce McNamara, both of Meadville;  a brother, Lloyd Smith of Meadville; eight grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.

Services were held at Waid Funeral Home.

Interment was in Wayland Cemetery.
