Lorna A. Denman

Lorna A. Denman, 78, of Meadville, and a resident of Wesbury United Methodist Retirement Community since August 1999, died there Saturday, May 6, 2000.

She was born July 6, 1923 in Paterson, NJ, a daughter of the late John and Anna Brentnall Storms.  She married Joseph C. Denman in 1939 and he preceded in her in death October 14, 1977.

She was a homemaker and of the Protestant faith.  She loved reading, watching movies and doing crossword puzzles.

Survivors include eight sons, Steven (Judy Rhoades) of Meadville, David (Darlene) of Meadville, Roy (Erma Longstreth) of Meadville; Lance (Joann) of Guys Mills, Scott (Tonya) of Meadville, Bryan of Chesapeake, VA, Shawn of Meadville and Dorian (Debra) of Meadville; one daughter, Valerie Rictor (Lester) of Franklin, NJ; several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, Reynold Storms.

Services were held at Waid Funeral Home.
