Louise R. Chase

Louise R. Chase, 84, of Meadville, a resident of the Meadville Care Center since November 1991, died at Meadville Medical Center Sunday, January 3, 1993 after a period of declining health.

She was born in Safford, AZ November 11, 1908, a daughter of Charles T. and Florence Wellwood Reynolds.  She married Joseph A. Chase who died December 23, 1964.

Louise is a retired East End School teacher where she served for 42 years.  She is a graduate of Edinboro State College.  She was a member of Park Congregational Church, the Golden Crown Chapter, Order of the Eastern Star and the Meadville Women's Club.

Survivors include one son, Joseph R. Chase of Meadville, a granddaughter and one niece.  She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, a sister, Katherine Reynolds and a brother, Edward Reynolds.

Services were held at Waid Funeral Home.

Interment was in Greendale Cemetery.
