Lucille Cunningham, 78, of Strongsville, OH, formerly of Meadville, died Friday, January 4, 1985, at Villa Camillus Extended Care Facility, Strongsville, following an extended illness.
She was born at Franklin, July 17, 1906, a daughter of William and Martha Maude Sopher Friggle. She married Howard L. (Doc) Cunningham September 8, 1926. He preceded her in death in 1981.
She was a member of Stongsville United Methodist Church, and was formerly a member of Stone United Methodist Church.
She is survived by a daughter, Mrs. Donald (Shirley) Gustafson of New Albany, IN; a son, William P. Cunningham of Strongsville; two sisters, Mrs. Genevieve Weaser of Weikert and Mrs. Ruth Steel of Franklin; and six grandchildren.
Services were held at Waid Funeral Home.
Interment was in Roselawn Memorial Gardens.
