M. Elizabeth Henderson

M. Elizabeth (Bess) Henderson, 93, formerly of Meadville, died Wednesday, February 22, 1989, at the residence of her son in Peoria, IL, following a long illness. She was born in Elk Garden, WV, September 23, 1895, a daughter of Richard and Mary McGee Love. She married J. Clifford Henderson on April 16, 1934. He preceded her in death on November 6, 1981. She was a clerk with Quality Markets in Meadville for 23 years. She was a member of First Baptist Church and the Plus Ultra Sunday school class, and a 50 year member of the Mead Chapter, Order of the Eastern Star. Survivors include a daughter, Mrs. Phyllis Court of Augusta, GA; two sons, Ralph Henderson of Peoria, IL and John Henderson of Canton, OH; a sister, Mrs. Janet Cullen of Indian Harbor Beach, FL; and fourteen grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a brother and two sisters. Services were held at Waid Funeral Home. Interment was in Roselawn Memorial Gardens. Services Past Services
