Mrs. M. Irene Woodring, 74, of Guys Mills, formerly of Meadville, widow of Otto R. Woodring, died at City Hospital Friday, October 12, 1979 following a brief illness.
She was born in Meadville, May 4, 1905, daughter of Augustus and Olga Johnson Gerard. She married Woodring June 27, 1922, and he died July 30, 1978.
Mrs. Woodring is survived by three daughters, Mrs. Achille (Gerry) Poux of Guys Mills, Mrs. James (Marian) Simmons of Saegertown and Mrs. Henry (Mickey) Zelasco of Meadville; a son, Ronald O. of Seabrook, MD; eleven grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
Services were held at Waid Funeral Home.
Interment was in Evergreen Cemetery, Harmonsburg.
