Mabel Chase
November 8, 1911 — February 25, 1983
Mabel Chase, 71, of Meadville, died at Hamot Medical Center Friday, February 25, 1983 after an illness of several years.
She was born in Pittsburgh, November 8, 1911, a daughter of Thomas and Nellie Highman. She married Donald "Buss" Chase, February 4, 1933, and he survives.
She was a clerical employee of the former Crawford County Trust Co. and was also employed for a brief time at Talon. She was a member of Grace United Methodist Church and the City Hospital Auxiliary
Survivors, in addition to her husband, include two sons, Donald Chase of Pittsburgh and Richard Chase of New Foundland; a sister, Mrs. Ada Gable of Pittsburgh; a brother, Thomas Kineston of Meadville; and four grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by one sister and one brother.
Services were held at Waid Funeral Home.
Interment was in Greendale Cemetery.
