Mabel Michael Darling

Mabel Michael Darling, 88, of Meadville, died at Meadville Medical Center Saturday, November 7, 1992, following a brief illness.

She was born in Edinboro, March 18, 1904, a daughter of Loren and Emaline Burge Lasher.  She married Perry Darling.  He preceded her in death in 1985.

She was employed at Talon in the sewing department for 28 years, and was a member of Grace United Methodist Church.

Survivors include a daughter, Mrs. William (Irene) Hall of Meadville; two step-sons, Richard Darling of Meadville and Paul E. Darling of Erie; four grandchildren; three step-grandchildren; and several great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by five brothers, six sisters and twin great-granddaughters.

Services were held at Waid Funeral Home.

Interment was in Roselawn Memorial Gardens.
