Mae B. Emerick

Mae B. Emerick, 80, formerly of Alden Street, Meadville died Thursday, July 1, 2004 at Casa Coloma Nursing Home, Rancho Cordova, CA.

She was born in Meadville May 2, 1924 a daughter of Lawrence Wilson and Genevive Ruth Kebert Hoyt.  She married Charles A. Emerick April 17, 1944 and her preceded her in death November 12, 2001.

She was a graduate of Meadville High School and she was a member of the First Presbyterian Church.  She was a former member of the Order of Eastern Star.  She enjoyed square dancing and bowling with her husband.

Survivors include: two sons, Harvey A. Emerick and his wife Shirley of Jemison, AL and Robert L. Emerick and his wife Phuong of Rancho Cordova, CA; six grandchildren, three great grandchildren, three aunts and several nieces and nephews.  She was preceded in death by two brothers, Eugene and Wilson Hoyt.

Calling hours will be Monday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. at the Robert W. Waid Funeral Home, Inc., 581 Chestnut St., Meadville.

The funeral service will be Tuesday at 10:30 a.m. in the chapel at First Presbyterian Church 890 Liberty St., Meadville with the Rev. Dr. Brian K. Jensen, Pastor, officiating.

Burial will be in Roselawn Memorial Gardens.
