Margaret (Bennington) Barrows

Margaret Barrows, 86, of Meadville, a resident there for 58 years, died at City Hospital Saturday, January 16, 1971.

She was born in Wayne Township March 19, 1884, a daughter of William M. and Caroline McArthur Bennington.  She married Charles Barrows February 14, 1912.

Mrs. Barrows was affiliated with First Presbyterian Church. She was a member of Meadville Woman's Club and was a charter member of Branch 267, National Letter Carriers Auxiliary; Mead Chapter, Order of the Eastern Star and Trinity White Shrine.

Surviving, in addition to her husband, are a niece, Mrs. Jane Lear of Meadville and two nephews, A.L. Bennington of San Francisco, CA and Burdette Bennington of Livingston, NJ.

Services were held at Robert W. Waid Funeral Home.

Interment was in Greendale Cemetery.
