Margaret Frances (Fisher) Brown

July 30, 1916 — September 14, 2011

Margaret (Peg) Frances Fisher Brown, 95, formerly of Meadville, passed away Wednesday, September 14, 2011, at Hospice House of North Central Ohio, Ashland, OH.

On July 30, 1916 in Chicago, IL, Mrs. Brown was born to the late Leroy Scott and Rose Henrietta (Shadley) Isham.  She was a life-long resident of Meadville, graduating from Meadville High School in 1933 and was a member of Stone United Methodist Church.

On October 6, 1934, Mrs. Brown married Frank David Brown who preceded her in death June 26, 1988.  She is survived by 2 sons: David Henry Brown of Largo, MD., and Paul Thomas Brown and wife, Sandra of Ashland, OH.; granddaughters: Kimberly Sandra Schroeder and husband, Joseph and Jennifer Lynn Brown Fowler; seven great-grandchildren: Hannah Grace Fowler, Nathaniel Emerson Fowler, Owen Christian Fowler all of Newark, OH., Andrew David Schroeder, Elizabeth Rose Schroeder, Danielle Grace Schroeder, and William Thomas Schroeder all of Ottawa, OH.

Calling hour will be Saturday from 1:30 – 2:30 p.m. at the Robert W. Waid Funeral Home, Inc., 581 Chestnut St., Meadville.  Graveside services will follow Saturday at 3:00 p.m. in Cochranton Cemetery, State Rt. #173, Cochranton with Rev. Jim Hammerlee, officiating.

The family suggests memorial contributions be made to Hospice of North Central Ohio, 1050 Dauch Dr., Ashland, OH 44805, or Hillside Home, 535 Williamson Rd., Meadville, PA 16335, or Stone United Methodist Church, 956 S. Main St., Meadville, PA 16335.
