Margaret E. Dillen, 86, formerly of Saegertown and a resident of San Diego, CA for the past 15 years, died there August 17, 2000.
She was born in Oil City, June 30, 1914, a daughter of Jerome and Grace Confer. She married Edgar H. Dillen, September 18, 1936 and he preceded her in death December 16, 1982.
She had worked as a nurse's aid at the former City Hospital.
Survivors, include a daughter, Karen Castelan of San Diego, CA; a sister, Lucy Donaldson of Polk, PA; a brother, Lawrence Confer of Chandler, AZ; and two grandsons, Kevin Castelan and Jose Castelan.
She was preceded in death by a son, Edgar D. Dillen; two brothers, Jim Hocke and Perry Confer; and a sister, Isabelle F. Echenbaum.
Services were held at Waid Funeral Home.
Interment was in Union Cemetery, Guys Mills.
