Margaret E. Sloan

Mrs. Margaret E. Sloan, 78, widow of James P. Sloan, died Wednesday afternoon at City Hospital after several months' illness.

Mrs. Sloan was born at Lycippus, PA, where she spent her early life.  For the past five years, she had lived in Meadville with her daughter, Mrs. Ralph Tidmarsh of Meadville.

She was a member of Stone Methodist Church, of Beacon of Light Class of the church school and of the Women's Christian Temperance Union.

Besides her daughter, she is survived by two grandchildren, Miss Margaret Tidmarsh and Robert Tidmarsh and a sister, Mrs. Bessie M. Goodell of White Water, WI.

Services were held at Waid Funeral Home.

Interment was in Latrobe, PA.
