Margaret E. Wagner, 93, of the David Mead Residence Inn, died there Friday, November 3, 2000.
She was born in Franklin, February 9, 1907, a daughter of the late Arthur and Bessie Baker Wagner.
She was a 1923 graduate of Meadville High School and had worked for a brief period at Talon. She attended Fenn College of Cleveland, now Cleveland State University. She was then employed as an accountant for Anderson-Ibec Corp of Cleveland for 40 years.
She was a member and past president of the Cleveland chapter of the American Society of Women Accountants. She especially liked to travel, including a trip around the world.
She was of the Protestant faith.
Survivors include four cousins, Leanna Parsons of Espyville, Hayden Smallenberger of Conneaut Lake, Gay Wotherspoon of Atlantic and Thelma Achenbach of Denver, CO.
She was preceded in death by one sister, Mrs. Wallace T. (Sara Louise) Baker.
Services were held at Waid Funeral Home.
Interment was in Greendale Cemetery.
