Margaret E. Waid

Margaret E., widow of the late Alvah C. Waid, died early Monday morning at her home in Venangoboro where she had lived the past 53 years.  She was 80 years of age.

Mrs. Waid was well known in the community, having served as a school director for several years.  She was a member of the Methodist Church, the Protected Home Circle and Daughters of Venangoboro.

She is survived by a daughter, Mrs. Carl B. Johnson of Woodcock; a son of Meadville and two sisters, Mrs. Gertrude Childs of Townville and Mrs. Hattie Armagost of Venangoboro.

Services were held at Waid Funeral Home.

Interment was in Venango Cemetery.
