Margaret Flickenger

Mrs. Margaret Flickenger, 86, resident of the Methodist Home for the Aged, died Monday, July 5, 1965, at City Hospital following a short illness.  She had been a patient at the hospital since last Thursday.

She moved to the home from DuBois in November 1955.

Mrs. Flickenger was born in Henderson Township, Jefferson County, July 14, 1878, a daughter of Jacob and Catherine Conrad Bonnet.  She lived most of her life in Jefferson County where, following the death of her husband, George Flickenger, she was employed as a housekeeper for many years.

She was a member of the First Methodist Church of Dubois.

She is survived by a son, Clair of Clermont; a brother, Otto Bonnet of Sykesville; five grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren.

Services were held at Waid Funeral Home.

Interment was in Morningside Cemetery, DuBois.
