Margaret Mccracken

Margaret (Peg) McCracken, 86, of Conneaut Lake, died Monday. January 9, 1995, at Meadville Medical Center.

She was born February 15, 1908, in Harmonsburg, a daughter of J. Henry and Line Mae Steele Mathews.  She married Victor I. McCracken June 27, 1927.  He preceded her in death.

She was a graduate of Meadville High School and Meadville Conservatory of Music.  She retired from Allegheny College as a cook at Brooks Hall.  She was owner and operator of McCracken's Bakery of Linesville and Meadville.  In retirement, Mrs. McCracken worked as a cashier at Conneaut Lake Park.  She was a member of First Baptist Church of Meadville.

Survivor include two sisters, Muriel P. Walls and Charlotte Vivian Ours of Meadville and several nieces and nephews.

Services were held at Waid Funeral Home.

Interment was in Evergreen Cemetery, Harmonsburg.
