Margaret Suzan Ruffley

Margaret Suzan “Sue” Ruffley, 54, of 12069 Sagwaw Dr., Conneaut Lake, PA died at home Friday, July 27, 2007.

She was born in Pittsburgh October 6, 1952 a daughter of Carl A. and Margaret L. Hood Blocher, Jr.  She married William Ruffley December 4, 2004 and he survives.

She received her Bachelor of Science Degree from Point Park College, Pittsburgh.  She worked as a counselor at State Correctional Institution – Mercer and previously had worked at State Correctional Institution – Cambridge Springs.  She was a member of Faith and Grace Fellowship Church, Conneaut Lake.

Survivors, in addition to her husband Bill, include: three children, Adam Lockhart and his friend Robin Duffola of Pittsburgh, Grant Lockhart of Erie and Melissa Wilkins and her husband James of Meadville; three step-sons, Gary Ruffley and his wife Becky, Jason Ruffley and Christopher Ruffley all of New Castle; her mother, Margaret L. Blocher of Conneaut Lake; four sisters, Donna Lauritzen and her husband Thomas of McMurray, PA, Patricia Kozar and her husband Mark of Pittsburgh, Katherine Redington and her husband Michael of Austintown, OH and Carol Gene Fox and her huband Mark of Meadville; six grandchildren, Gage, Mercedes, Madison, Skyla, Isaiah and Jaden and nieces, nephews and dear friends.

She was preceded in death by her father, Carl A. Blocher, Jr. October 31, 1999.

Calling hours will be Tuesday, July 31st from 12-4 and 7-9 p.m. at the Waid-Coleman Funeral Home, Inc., 12422 Conneaut Lake Road, Conneaut Lake.

Memorial services will be held Wednesday at 11 a.m. at Faith and Grace Fellowship Church, Leech Road, Conneaut Lake with the Rev. Richard King, Pastor, officiating.
