Margaret Yates

Mrs. Margaret Yates, 79, of Meadville, died Thursday, April 25, 1963 at City Hospital after a short illness.

Mrs. Yates was born at Clermont December 16, 1884, a daughter of James and Mary Robertson.  She was the widow of George Yates, who died in 1930.  She was a member of First Presbyterian Church.

Surviving are a daughter, Mrs. Seldon (Helen) Smith of Meadville; two sons, William of St. Marys and James R. of Meadville; three sisters, Mrs. Mary Tippins of Gillespie, IL, Mrs. Jean Thompson of Los Angeles and Mrs. Fred Gearhart of Oakland, MD; four grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.

Services were held at Waid Funeral Home.

Interment was in Lutheran Church Cemetery, Rameystown, near Brookville.
