Marian C. Murphy
May 24, 1916 — May 4, 1990
Marian C. Murphy, of Cochranton, died Friday, May 4, 1990 at Meadville Medical Center.
She was born in Linesville, a daughter of Charles T. and Chesta Scott. She married Charles C. Murphy, who preceded her in death on March 4, 1983.
She graduated from Linesville High School; specialized in music and received a degree from Fredonia State Teachers College, Fredonia, NY; and supervised music in the public schools for many years until her retirement from Crawford Central School District.
Survivors include two brothers, Neil C. Peterson of Newark, OH and Richard S. Peterson of Issaquah, WA.
Services were held at Waid Funeral Home.
Interment was in Roselawn Memorial Gardens.
