Marian G. Hunter

Marian G. Hunter, 72, of Saegertown, died Wednesday, November 23, 1988, at Meadville Medical Center following a two-year illness.

Mrs. Hunter was born in Wayne Township, June 22, 1916, a daughter of Robert and Edith Reese Gourley.  He married Clare Hunter, November 4, 1939.  He survives.

She had been a cook at Wesbury United Methodist Community for five years.  She previously had been employed at Boyd's Store, Guys Mills, for several years and at Talon for eight years.  She was a member of the Woodcock Women's Club.

Survivors, in addition to his husband, include a son, Dale C. Hunter of Saegertown; one brother, John R. Gourley of Venango; two grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

Services were held at Waid Funeral Home.

Interment was in Union Cemetery, Guys Mills.
