Meadville, PA

Marian Elaine “Tootie” Mulchin, 92, of Meadville, passed away peacefully on June 14, 2025, after a short stay at The Embassy of Park Avenue. She was born on August 16, 1932, in Titusville, PA, to the late Howard and Irene Davidson.

Marian was a devoted sister, wife, mother, aunt, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 53 years, Nicholas Mulchin, and her son David. She is survived by her sister Donna Brown, son Randy Mulchin and daughter Nicki Fleek; her grandsons Adam Fleek, Shawn Fleek, and Sasha Mulchin; niece Toni Brown, nephews Jay and John Brown, great nieces Lindsey Sorge and Jade Anderson, great-grandchildren Erin, Tilda, and Lenny, and many others, all of whom brought her immense pride and joy.

Marian and Nicholas maintained a beautiful family home, vast gardens, and a craft workshop where she painted gifts for loved ones. Their home was a welcoming space for all people to have coffee and conversation. She was an active member of the Women’s Industrial Bowling League, produced props for the Meadville Community Theatre, and spent years overseeing Meadville’s community flower gardens.

Friends and family are encouraged to share their remembrances with one another and remember Marian’s wise words: “if we go down, we go down together.” In lieu of flowers, the family encourages donations to a local arts or gardening initiative in Marian’s memory.

Arrangements have been entrusted to ROSE AND WAID FUNERAL HOME AND CREMATORY, INC. 581 CHESTNUT ST. MEADVILLE. Burial will be private in Roselawn Memorial Gardens.

Memories and condolences may be shared at www.rosefh.com.
