Marian V. Burton

Marian V. Burton, 84, of Guys Mills, a former laundry room supervisor, died Monday, October 21, 1991, at the Crawford County Care Center, Saegertown, following an extended illness.

She was born in East Mead Township, May 31, 1907, a daughter of Clifford and Etta May Beatty Walton.  She married Theodore (Ted) Burton, October 22, 1907.  He survives.

She worked as a laundry room supervisor at Meadville City Hospital for 25 years.  She was a member of Wayland Baptist Church.

Survivors, in addition to her husband, include a son, Robert C. Burton of Guys Mills; a brother, Charles Walton of Meadville; four grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.  She was preceded in death by a daughter, Betty Murray; a brother, Earl Walton and two sisters, Lyna Thueret and Dorothy Zaar.

Services were held at Waid Funeral Home.

Interment was in Oakwood Cemetery.
