Marie C. Robinson

Mrs. Marie C. Robinson, 76, of Meadville, died suddenly at City Hospital Sunday, November 17, 1974.

Born at Millvale, Allegheny County, December 7, 1897, she was a daughter of John P. and Anna Mim Lang.  She was the widow of Arthur H. Robinson who died in 1956.  She and her husband came to Meadville in 1950 and opened Robbie's Sport Center on Chestnut Street.  The shop now is operated by a son-in-law and daughter on Park Avenue.

Survivors include three daughters, Mrs. Ruth Reichle and Mrs. Charles J. (Rosemary) Walsh of Meadville; Mrs. Jack (Mildred) Reese of Okmulgee, OK; a sister, Mrs. Rose Maushardt and two brothers, Lewis and Joseph Lang, all of Pittsburgh; eleven grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by two sisters, two brothers an a grandson.

Services were held at Waid Funeral Home.

Interment was in Southside Cemetery.
