Marie E. Hills
September 10, 1897 — September 11, 1982
Mrs. Marie E. Hills, 85, of Meadville, widow of John W. Hills, died at Spencer Hospital Saturday, September 11, 1982, following a short illness.
She was born at Wilmerding, September 10, 1897, a daughter of Charles and Mary Kelly Arthur. She married Hills in 1917, and he preceded her in death in 1964.
She was a member of Mead Chapter, Order of the Eastern Star.
Survivors include two daughters, Mrs. James (Doris) Starn and Mrs. Madge Larson, both of Meadville; seven grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by a daughter, Mary Elizabeth Heil, three brothers and one sister.
Services were held at Waid Funeral Home.
Interment was in Roselawn Memorial Gardens.
