Marie G. Eves

Marie G. Eves, 86, widow of Ralph L. Eves, a resident of Hillside Home since July 1976, died at Spencer Hospital, Saturday, June 13, 1981, after a brief illness.
She was born in Indiana County, January 8, 1895. She married Eves on August 22, 1923. He died February 12, 1964.
She was employed for several years as a tipstaff at Crawford County Courthouse.
She was a member of Stone United Methodist Church. She was past president of the Auxiliary to Charles Stafford Post of the American Legion and past president of number 8 and 40, Organization of American Legion.
She is survived by a daughter, Mrs. Robert (Joan) Thomas of Warren, OH; a son, Robert A. Eves of Meadville; four grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
Services were held at Waid Funeral Home.
Interment was in Roselawn Memorial Gardens.
