Mariett L. Lewis

Mariett L. Lewis, 85, of Meadville, widow of Raymond S. Lewis, died Wednesday, December 16, 1981, at City Hospital after a brief illness.

She was born at Portland, Chautauqua County, NY, September 11, 1896, daughter of George and Isodora Terry Barton.  She married Lewis May 15, 1916.  He died April 19, 1981.

She was a member of Meadville Christian and Missionary Alliance Church and Randolph Grange.

Survivors include two daughters, Mrs. Edgar (Mildred) Smith of Meadville and Mrs. Clarence (Helen) Wescott of Geneva, NY; a sister, Mrs. Edna Robins of Jamestown, NY; one granddaughter; one great-grandson and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by six brothers and three sisters.

Services were held at Waid Funeral Home.

Interment was in Saegertown Cemetery.
