Marion A. Peters

Marion A. Peters, 71, of Boynton Beach, FL, formerly of Saegertown, died Saturday, April 8, 1978, at Bethesda Memorial Hospital, Boynton Beach, after a two-months illness.

He was born in Hayfield Township, October 4, 1906, son of Arthur and Mary Ann Dearborn Peters.  He first married Dorothy Flickinger who died in 1967.  He later married Helen Wimmer Drake.  He was a retired rural mail carrier out of the Saegertown Post Office.  He last worked as a school bus driver for Harry Boyles, transportation contractor.  He was a member of First United Methodist Church, Boynton Beach, and a former member of Stone United Methodist Church.  He formerly was active in Saegertown Volunteer Fire Department.

Survivors include his widow; a daughter, Mrs. Twila Mauri of Meadville; three sons, Kenneth of Saegertown, Robert of Meadville and Daniel of Townville; a brother, Paul of Vero Beach, FL and fourteen grandchildren.

Services were held at Waid Funeral Home.

Interment was in Venango Cemetery.
