Marion Gamble

Mrs. Marion Gamble, 86, formerly of Meadville, died Wednesday, July 16, 1986, at Haywood County Hospital, Clyde, NC.  She had been a resident of Silver Bluff Rest Home, Canton, NC.

Mrs. Gamble was born in Linesville, April 27, 1900, a daughter of Guy and Elizabeth Morrow Little.  She first married W. Preston Hall, who died in 1952.  She subsequently married Charles Floyd Gamble, who survives.

She was of Presbyterian faith.

Survivors, in addition to her husband, include a daughter, Mrs. William (Jean) Martin of Canton, NC; and two sons, Edward G. Hall of Meadville and Charles A. Hall of McKean; eleven grandchildren and sixteen great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by two brothers, Clair and Howard Little.

Services were held at Waid Funeral Home.

Interment was in Roselawn Memorial Gardens.
