Marion Yates, 75, retired from Talon, Inc. in 1979 as a secretary after 19 years of service.
She was of the Protestant faith.
Yates, of Meadville, died unexpectedly Tuesday, April 19, 1994, at Meadville Medical Center.
She was born at Turtle Creek, September 7, 1918, a daughter of Clarence and Althea Fisher Gerlach. She married James Yates in May of 1942. He survives.
Survivors also include a daughter, Sally McBride of Hannibal, MO; a sister, Sally Chambers of Melbourne, FL and two grandchildren.
Services were held at Waid Funeral Home.
