Mrs. Marjorie E. Sessions, 86, widow of John A. Sessions, formerly of Hamburg, NY and Canton, OH, died Wednesday, May 20, 1981, at United Methodist Hospital following an extended illness. She had been a patient there since April 1978.
She was born at Omaha, NE, October 3, 1894, a daughter of Arthur and Alice Lickorish Emmons.
She formerly was a member of several clubs at Canton, including Sorosis Club, Garden Club, College Club, Y-Wives, Oberlin Alumni Assn., Stark County Historical Society and American Assn. for Retired Persons.
Survivors include two daughters, Mrs. Alan (Margaret) Crain of Meadville and Mrs. John (Jean) Bidner of Hamburg; a son, Robert E. Sessions of Bridgeport, CT; a brother, Willard Emmons of Boykins, VA and seven grandchildren.
Services were held at Waid Funeral Home.
Interment was in North Ridgeville Cemetery, North Ridgeville, OH.
