Mark S. Ostrander, 78, of Meadville, passed away on May 13, 2026 at home with his loving wife beside him. He was born on July 1, 1947 in Exeter, New Hampshire to parents Frank O. Ostrander and Frances G. Sheffield.
Mark married his wife Melissa Richael on October 9, 2000.
Mark was a member of the Protestant faith. He loved the New England Patriots, photography, and NASCAR, his favorite driver being Chase Elliott. Most recently he loved woodworking, specializing in intricate designs. He would create toys for kids which he donated to the Salvation Army and the Church of God. He also loved his family and his pets, which were most often poodles.
Mark graduated from Whitman-Hanson Regional High School in Hanson Massachusetts in 1965. He later held several printing and newspaper jobs over the years.
Mark is survived by his wife, Melissa; a step-son, Kyle Blake; a sister, Coleen K. Dwyer; a brother, Daryl S. Dwyer (Diane); many nieces and nephews; and his poodle, Cubby.
Mark is preceded in death by his parents; a sister, Dawn M. Kenney; a brother, Gary R. Ostrander; a brother-in-law, Russell Dwyer; and a stepson, Robert Blake Jr.
Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to ROSE AND BLACK FUNERAL HOME & CREMATORY, INC. 99 Franklin Street, Stoneboro where visitation will take place on Monday May 18th from 11am until the time of service at 1pm with Eric Peters officiating. Burial will follow in Oak Hill Cemetery.
