Marlene J. Burchfield

Marlene J. Burchfield, 73, of Conneaut Lake, died Friday, June 17, 2005 at Meadville Medical Center.

She was born August 9, 1931 in Munhall, a daughter of the late Harry C. and Helen Stoebe Kline.  She married Ronald L. Burchfield April 6, 1957 and he preceded her in death February 16, 2001.

She was a homemaker and had been an active member of Trinity United Methodist Church.  She was a former Sunday School teacher, member of the Pastor-Parish Committee, member of the administrative board, communion steward for 14 years, member of the worship committee and assisted with bible school.  She was a former committeewoman with the Crawford County Republican Party and was a former Cub Scout Den Mother.  She enjoyed flower gardening and yardwork and especially spending time with her grandchildren.

Survivors include a son, Don A. Burchfield (Jill) of Conneaut Lake; a daughter, Darlene K. Malec of Conneaut Lake; two grandchildren, Adam L. Birchfield and Alysha L. Malec and nieces and nephews.

In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by a brother, Donald Kline and a granddaughter, Ashley L. Malec.

Services were held at Waid Funeral Home.

Interment was in Roselawn Memorial Gardens.
